Ok so this is sad that I'm just now getting around to doing this, but I realise in this day and age we can't keep up with the people we love as much as we like or possible we don't make the time or effort to we let those things ride till later and later never comes so here goes... I'm going to make an effort to keeping the people that matter most up to date with the people I see everyday.
Novemeber 15
th... we are counting down the days until the holidays. Being in retail I get to see both sides of what holiday means. Between work and getting things prepared and looking great for visits and our customers and really looking at the true meaning of the holidays for my family and others it can be stressful. This is the first year that Isaiah will kinda understand gifts and being really excited when he
see's what "
Santa" brought him make me
sooo excited. Like any family we have been buying as we go, I have to admit I started back in the summer.
Ok I know you're looking for an update in the
fam so here goes. Johnny is doing his thing at his store and learning
allot as he goes. Its really nice to have someone in the same business that understands the stress of it all. His store has been growing (KUDOS to that) and he has a really great group of people in his store that are a good mix for each other. Other than actually gaining a little weight FINALLY there is really not
allot to report on him.
Isaiah is now 19
months. I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!! He's talking
allot and starting to run around like no ones business. He get stuck on words and right now its truck. Anything with wheels is truck. He still loves his mickey mouse clubhouse and wiggles, but we are now getting interested in Little Einsteins and Elmo (or
Melmo as he refers to him). He's been moved up to the Toddlers 2 room and thinks he's the biggest man on campus. The girls at his daycare think the world of him and tell me that when they walk through his room he smiles at them like yeah look at me I'm a big boy. He's started to really test the limits with us and throwing
tantrums. His daddy and I have totally different idea's on whats
ok and what not nice but we are working through that thought to make a common ground to combat his little attitude (and yes for those who know me well he has my attitude and temper issue... go figure). We have been contemplating the idea of potty training
although that scares me... even though I'm sure he'll be
ok with it. Any ideas on what worked for your kids let me know!!!
I've been working hard trying to learn things at work. I really enjoy my job and the challenges that it presents. We have really hard and high expectation in our district, but I would much rather have that and the stress and structure it brings then
lackadaisical ones that I have scene. Our store, in my opinion and I am biased, look
sooo much better than others. Note that I have only seen 2 other districts but that still makes me think we have a great standard for our stores. My boss and I get along pretty well. He's
hysterical to work with and that makes actually going to work better. ... lets see what else...
ohhhh I FINALLY AM UNDER MY
PRE-BABY WEIGHT!!!!!! wow that took a long long time.
So that gets you
a little into what's been going on the last few months... I'll keep ya posted and hope things are great!
